Marketing Specialist

This is a full-time, in-person position. Remote work is not available for this role.
Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting and carrying out the organization’s marketing, branding, communications, and public relations efforts. This position will create digital and print content, manage social media platforms, assist with website updates, produce photo and video content, and help develop marketing strategies that promote the organization’s services, mission, and community presence.
The ideal candidate should be creative, organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects at once. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to represent the organization professionally in both online and community settings.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in marketing, graphic design, communications, social media management, videography, or a related field preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to create professional social media, print, and digital content.
- Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs preferred.
- Basic photography and video editing skills preferred.
- Ability to manage a website or learn website management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work full-time, in person, in Russell Springs, Kentucky.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, public relations, media, or a related field.
- Experience managing business or organizational social media accounts.
- Experience creating promotional videos, reels, graphics, and print materials.
- Experience with website platforms such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar systems.
- Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or community-based services.
- Knowledge of branding, public relations, and community outreach strategies.

Schedule
This is a full-time position. The schedule will be determined by the organization. Some occasional evening or weekend availability may be needed for events, campaigns, or community outreach activities.
