Maintenance Technician:
We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and property.

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and improvement projects as needed. The ideal candidate should have experience in multiple areas of maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, general repairs, and basic building upkeep.
This position requires someone who is reliable, self-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to respond to maintenance needs in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
- Complete basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
- Complete basic plumbing repairs, including leaks, clogs, fixtures, and drains.
- Perform carpentry repairs and small construction projects.
- Repair drywall, paint, patch holes, and complete touch-up work.
- Maintain doors, locks, windows, flooring, fixtures, and other property items.
- Inspect buildings and property for maintenance or safety concerns.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks.
- Keep accurate records of completed work when required.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate professionally with staff, residents, clients, vendors, and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience required.
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Must be able to lift, carry, bend, stand, walk, and perform physical labor as needed.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with residential or commercial property maintenance.
- Experience working in a treatment center, healthcare facility, sober living, or similar setting.
- Ability to prioritize urgent maintenance needs.
- Willingness to be flexible and assist where needed.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position. Schedule may vary based on maintenance needs. Some occasional after-hours or weekend availability may be required for urgent repairs or emergencies.
